This special supplement, AJTES Supplement 7: Abstracts Book – ACS 2023 @ ACTES 2023, is the scientific proceedings of the 8th Albanian Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery, which was held on November 10–11, 2023, in Tirana, Albania.
The congress brought together most of the clinicians, researchers, and allied health professionals from Albania and abroad for a multidisciplinary discussion to develop trauma systems, refine acute care protocols, and enhance surgical readiness.
The slogan of Congress was “Together we can make the difference..." It's a call to action and a reminder of the power of collaboration to achieve safety, resilience, and continuous improvement in trauma and emergency surgical care. It's a theme that should galvanize and inspire every one of us. AJTES is intensely committed to global collaboration, academic excellence, and innovation.
By publishing high-impact original research papers, reviews, technical reports, case studies, and reflective editorials, the journal actively promotes the sharing of ideas and knowledge globally.
AJTES also welcomes submissions in new areas such as artificial intelligence in surgery, disaster medicine, surgical education, and student-driven studies, thereby empowering future leaders in surgery and infusing globalism into our content.
